The Westin Zagreb Hotel is located at the centre of Zagreb, right across the neo-renaissance palace from the 19th century that contains Mimara, one of the largest Zagreb museums. Greenery and multiple parks and sights such as the Croatian National Theatre in the close vicinity of the hotel, will make you feel as having the whole Zagreb at the palm of your hand. The view from some of the higher floors of the Westin Zagreb Hotel is priceless.
Public transport and taxi
The tram stop is right in front of the Hotel and the tram is the main means of public transport to the city centre. Trams no. 12, 13, 14 and 17 will take you to the Hotel. Get off at the Vodnikova ulica ( Vodnikova Street ) stop and you should be able to see the Hotel right away.Taxicab stand is in front of the Hotel, which enables us to arrange transport in only a few minutes.

If you arrive by car:
Arriving by car from the east (A3 and A4 highway), continue driving down Slavonska avenija until you reach the turn to Savska cesta (14 km). Turn right to Savska cesta ( Savska street ) towards the centre and follow the markings for the Westin Zagreb Hotel.If you arrive from the west (A2 highway, border crossing at Bregana, Slovenia), follow the marking for Zagreb-west and drive down Zagrebačka avenija (9 km) and then turn left to Savska cesta. Follow the markings for the city centre and the Westin Zagreb Hotel.
If you are approaching Zagreb from the south and taking the A1 Highway to Zagreb, after the toll booth continue driving down Jadranska avenija towards the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout and continue across Jadran Bridge. Turn right at the first traffic light to Savska cesta and drive straight to the city centre, then follow the markings for the Westin Zagreb Hotel.
Hotel has a garage and an outdoor parking lot for the hotel guests.
Main Railway Station
If you travel to Zagreb by train, you can reach the Westin Zagreb Hotel by tram no. 2 to Črnomerec (western part of the city). Get off at the second stop (Vodnikova street). Walk straight until the crossing. Hotel is located across the street, on your right.Pleso Airport Zagreb
You can take a taxi from the Pleso Airport (regular fee is HRK 200-250), or Croatia Airlines shuttle bus to the Zagreb Bus Station (HRK 35).
Zagreb Bus Station
The easiest way to reach the Westin Zagreb Hotel from the Bus Station is by tram no. 2 to Črnomerec (western part of the city). Get off at the fourth stop (Vodnikova street). Walk straight until you reach a crossing. Hotel is located across the street, on your right. Sightseeing
If you want to go sightseeing through the centre of Zagreb and its historical part, we recommend a tram ride to the main city square, only 10 minutes away from the hotel.
A walk to the town is another exciting and not too exhausting a way to get acquainted with Zagreb. Walking towards the city centre, you will walk past the Croatian National Theatre – a stunning neo-Baroque beauty and many other notable buildings in its surroundings. You will spend part of this way surrounded by greenery of the central city parks that together from the so-called Lenuci’s Horseshoe – the most beautiful and valuable park heritage at the very heart of Zagreb. If you become tired of sightseeing, you should definitely sit for a coffee or tea in the most famous Zagreb street Tkalčićeva ulica (popularly called Tkalča) or at the trendy meeting point of Zagreb celebrities who have made it a tradition to drink their Saturday morning coffees in Bogovićeva ulica – popularly called “zagrebačka špica,” or the “Zagreb hotspot”.
